New Every Morning Retreat

Jeff and Linda Frack, stewards of New Every Morning, lived and worked within the hustle and bustle of the break neck pace experienced within the metropolitan Washington DC area for 30 years. Their first hand experience at living on the edge of sanity provides them with unique insight and compassion for those who feel trapped by the ever-swirling high speed  environment. New Every Morning is the ever-evolving result of a 40 year vision to provide a place for those who need to reconnect with God not only to be refreshed and re-energized, but to re-order priorities and take time to listen to God’s voice to become the person He intended.

At New Every Morning, Jeff and Linda have a particular passion for those who live within a system of unrealistic expectations and demands and who many times drive themselves far beyond what God has asked or  expects. It is their firm belief that there is always sufficient time each day  to do what God wants, but it is important that we hear His voice and are sure we are doing and being what he wants us to be.

Jesus often went alone to a quiet place to pray. He lived life intentionally by  hearing His Father’s  voice and being obedient. New Every Morning’s mission is to provide you with that place.

If coming from the
​C&O Canal Towpath:
PLEASE READ 

​We get lots of inquiries regarding how close we are to the C&O Canal bike path.  New Every Morning’s property extends all the way to the Potomac River in West Virginia and the bike path is in Maryland.  While on the map we appear quite close to the C&O Canal, we are not, practically speaking.  Our property is on the other side of the river and the C&O bike path leaves the river headed toward the Paw Paw tunnel about a half mile downstream from us so that the bike path is not even opposite our property across the river.  The closest place to cross the river to get to us is at Paw Paw, approximately 6 miles upstream from us.  By paved road over the winding mountain road it is approx. 9 miles from Paw Paw, but is only 6 miles by way of the unpaved mostly level very rutted Low Line Road (the old B&O railroad bed).  Once you are at our driveway, it is a relatively steep gravel incline to get up to us. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide shuttle service from Paw Paw.

Policies

  • We are a 100% nonsmoking facility
  • No pets
  • We are often not by the phone.  Please email NEMRetreat@aol.com or use this contact form with your questions or reservation needs.  If you do not hear back in 24 hours, please check your spam folder.  If you still didn't receive anything, please leave a message on our voicemail.
  • Reservations - A deposit equal to 50% of the entire stay is required at reservation time;  The balance is due upon check-in.
  • Cancellations- While we appreciate that there are many reasons to cancel, last minute cancellations greatly affect us - leaving us little chance of filling the reserved space. We are only able to refund your deposit (less a $50.00  processing fee) if  your cancellation is 14 days prior to your stay. Within the 14 days we will make every attempt to rebook your room, and if we are successful you will only be charged the $50.00 processing fee. If we do not resell your reservation, we will  hold your deposit for one year to be used toward a future stay with us. Deposit will then be forfeited if you do not rebook and stay with us in that one year time period. Any cancellation made on the day of arrival or early check out will incur full charges for all nights reserved.
  • Payments- We will send you a secure link to pay your deposit and your final payment.  We also accept Credit Cards & Cash (Deposits must be made with a credit card)
  • Gift Certificates- Gift Certificates are available and are good for one year from date of purchase. There are no refunds on gift certificates.
  • A discounted rate is available for Active Duty Military.
  • Due to insurance and fire code restrictions, candles are not allowed in our guest rooms.
  • Check in time: 3:00 p.m. (Please call if you plan a late arrival
  • Check out time: 11:00 a.m.
  • SAME DAY reservations can NOT be made after 2 p.m. 
  • Other Considerations:​
  • In order to maximize your unplugged, time away experience. There is no TV, internet or phone in your rooms. There is a phone available for emergencies.  ​Cell Service is spotty and essentially non-existent
